How do your products represent social groups or issues? The main issue we discuss throughout our film is Alcoholism. This is a huge problem not only in America but around the world. This film shows many of the struggles and problems that come along with alcoholism. Families are torn apart because of it, relationships are destroyed, and people can get really hurt. According to the 2019 NSDUH, 14.1 million adults ages 18 and older, 5.6 percent of this age group, had alcohol use disorder. This number should never even have the chance to get this big, and this is including underage drinkers as well. We discuss another issue in our film that is too common in our society, abuse. Physical and verbal abuse rates in the US are disturbingly high. Our film brings light to these problems that almost seem to be ignored in society today. No one pays enough attention to the issues happening, and most of them are happening right under their noses. Having a film that is seen by a large number of people

 Today is one of the last days to work on our project and finish up anything we needed. There are only a few small things that I can think of that need to be done. I'm sure more will come up when reviewing the final project. The website needs a little more tweaking but that shouldn't be hard at all. Some of the pictures on it we might change out or try and take better ones. The postcard is all finished up and we are happy with it. There was no more scenes that needed to be re-filmed. After we edited everything into iMovie I wanted to talk with some of my classmates about it. Most of them talked about minor fixes. For example the audio was most of the complaints. So we ended up making some scenes quieter and some louder. The ending scene was hard to edit since it was just an audio. It was also really quiet so I had to increase it to 400% volume for you to be able to hear it. After some other small edits we thought it was pretty good. The music choice was rly hard.   Since Sonali and I filmed most of our scenes the other day, we started to edit more.  I added all the raw footage we had so far and cut and edited from there.  Once I cut down on clips I was at 4:40.  This started to worry me because we still had the last scene to film which is about 30 seconds.  We also have the beach scene to film so we are definitely be over the time limit.  Adding transitions also adds time so we are going to have to really keep an eye on time.  Once we get all the footage, Sonali and I will have to figure out what clips we will have to shorten or just cut completely.  Today since I had most of the the footage, I started adding the title sequence.  The name of our studio is "S&O STUDIOS."  The name of our production company is, "KOENIG PRODUCTIONS."  The actors in our play are just "Oscar Koenig" and "Sonali Castanon."  Our film title is, "Till Death Do Us Part."  The music credentials are still being determin

  Since the school week has started now, Sonali and I probably won't be getting together to film until the weekend.  Due to this, I am going to focus on editing the footage we have so far.  I will also go over our website to make sure everything looks good.  I gathered all the clips that we were using and put it into iMovie.  When I added all the clips I was at 3:20.  I started to get scared but then remembered that certain clips were longer than they had to be.  Once I started editing and cutting down the clips, we were around like 2:30.  We are doing pretty good on time so far since we have filmed half.  I included transitions after each clip to make it look better. Sonali and I both thought fades were the best transitions to use so I included fades into white and fades into black.  Although we are doing pretty good on time, I starting to get a little worried on time.  Certain clips in our short film are going to be long continuous shots so I hope we have enough time to include i

 Today I was able to go over to Sonalis after school for a while. I couldnt stay over forever so we decided to look over and see what we could do. We looks over our shots up to this point to see what could be changed. After looking through it we decided that today would be a redo day. A day put to retaking shots that we weren't happy with. Looking through the film we actually noticed that there were a lot of scenes that we wanted to redo. These were all random scenes so it was harder than you think. We had to make sure we were in the same outfits as before. We had to make sure it was around the same time of day. We also had to go to different settings for the film. We first filmed the scenes that took place at her house. There were a few scenes that the dialogue wasn't to our liking. Next, we went to the park to refilm a few scenes. We had to grab all of our supplies that we took before. Including food, the blanket, and other props. The final setting that we had to refilm in wa

 Today was another uneventful day with nothing getting done. I had work again today so I couldnt get anything done. After school I already had my day planned out. When I got home I had about an hour before work. In the time it would take to go over to Sonalis it wouldn't even be worth it. So in that hour I had to do something. The first thing I though of was to go and work out. It would be perfect with the amount of time given. It would be a short workout but if I use my time well and be more intense that it would be good. So I worked out as quick as I could before I had to start getting ready. After I finished with all that I took a shower, got ready, and went to work. On days that I cant do anything I try and brainstorm ideas. Things that we can add or take out of the film. I have a good amount of free time at work so I use that time to brainstorm.
