Editing Day 1

 Since the school week has started now, Sonali and I probably won't be getting together to film until the weekend.  Due to this, I am going to focus on editing the footage we have so far.  I will also go over our website to make sure everything looks good.  I gathered all the clips that we were using and put it into iMovie.  When I added all the clips I was at 3:20.  I started to get scared but then remembered that certain clips were longer than they had to be.  Once I started editing and cutting down the clips, we were around like 2:30.  We are doing pretty good on time so far since we have filmed half.  I included transitions after each clip to make it look better. Sonali and I both thought fades were the best transitions to use so I included fades into white and fades into black.  Although we are doing pretty good on time, I starting to get a little worried on time.  Certain clips in our short film are going to be long continuous shots so I hope we have enough time to include it in our film.  Due to this, I started to look over our script and circled certain parts that could possibly be cut out if we don't have enough time.  There was like two parts in the film that included dialogue that was not needed if we were to run out of time.  Once we film again, we will see if we have to cut out these parts in order to fit the time requirement.  If we are still over the time limit, we will just have to cut down certain clips.  I feel like we will be able to make it work without getting rid of any major parts in our film.  As I wait for the weekend to come to finish filming with Sonali, I will continue editing what we have so far.  I will also go over our postcard and website to make any changes that Sonali and I want.  I really like how everything is turning out so far, and I can't wait to be completely be finished with it. Then we will finally be able to see the final project.
