Editing Day 2

 Since Sonali and I filmed most of our scenes the other day, we started to edit more.  I added all the raw footage we had so far and cut and edited from there.  Once I cut down on clips I was at 4:40.  This started to worry me because we still had the last scene to film which is about 30 seconds.  We also have the beach scene to film so we are definitely be over the time limit.  Adding transitions also adds time so we are going to have to really keep an eye on time.  Once we get all the footage, Sonali and I will have to figure out what clips we will have to shorten or just cut completely.  Today since I had most of the the footage, I started adding the title sequence.  The name of our studio is "S&O STUDIOS."  The name of our production company is, "KOENIG PRODUCTIONS."  The actors in our play are just "Oscar Koenig" and "Sonali Castanon."  Our film title is, "Till Death Do Us Part."  The music credentials are still being determined at the moment. Sonali and I haven't found a sound that fits our movie yet.  The editor of our short film is both, "Sonali Castanon" and "Oscar Koenig."  The director of our short film is "Sonali Castanon."  After adding all of the titles, our short film started to look very professional.

Film day #2 Part 1

 Today is our second day of filming for this project. We had planned to get some extra work done today. First things first I had to get ready for Sonalis house. All I had to do was get changed, grab cloths, and get over there. After gathering everything up I headed over to Sonalis to get to work. When I got to Sonalis we started to discuss what we had to do. We had a few different ideas what to start with. We decided to start with some of our long takes. These were takes that were hard to follow the script for. so for most of these we improvised what we were saying but still staying on the topic. A long take in my opinion is one that was more than 30 seconds. We had a good amount of these scenes. The reason for so many long takes is because of how long our film was.   Schedule March 2nd - I will start finalizing all my plans and ideas for filming and let my film crew know I will start soon. March 4th - I will start filming the beginning scenes that I only need to set my phone up somewhere. For example scenes like the beginning scenes that the credits will flow over. March 7th - I will finish up the filming that I can do alone and start to focus on the bigger scenes and shots. My parents and siblings will be the film crew that will help me here and there.  March 12th-15th - During this time I plan on finishing up most of the filming that I need to do. There will be some scenes that I want to switch out and redo, so this will not be the last time filming.  March 16th - I will start to upload all my shots and clips to OpenShot. This is my editing soft where that I will be using.  March 18th - After uploading all of my shots, I will look at all of my shots to see if they are good or not.   What titles are displayed in the opening sequences? The 20th century Fox is shown in the very beginning of the film. There is also the name that shows up after few scenes. The movie starts off at a zoo it looks like. There are a few credit scenes that show up with actors and important roles. What images are prioritized during the opening sequences? Images with animals are heavily prioritized in the beginning of the film. showing beautiful animals prancing and moving around everywhere. What connotations do these images carry?
