 1.In this music video I think the genre of music that I chose is very common with my other classmates. This is the type of music most of us listen to so you can imagine what songs they chose, probably ones pretty similar to mine. The detail that differs mine from theirs is the fact that for all my project so far this one included have come from me and only me. Other people have groups that they can rely on for help, but I don't have that pro. I have the con of only having a single person work on this and a limited time compared to the others as well. For thanksgiving break I wasn't aloud to bring my computer up because my parents would think I would be on it the whole time. That's a week off my time that I have to do. This project was so far the hardest one I've doe yet in this class. I just ran into a lot of little obstacles and had a hard time coming up with ideas. I picked out my song pretty easily. And I liked the song a lot so you think it would be easier to come up with ideas. But it was actually a struggle. I first had the idea to film on my trip up to New York, but that didn't end up working out. So I had to settle with videoing in my room. I thought this was good because the name of the song is "In My Room". Turns out this is better on paper. The shots were hard to take because of how small my room is. As well as them not coming out as well because of my phone quality. Of the that topic a lot of good things happened. I learned a really good site to use to get audio to be able to put it in my video. Usually it will mess up the audio or ad some type of watermark, but this one worked well. I also learned how to cut shots so they go together better. The song is longer than a m...

 After importing the videos to my computer and getting them to my editing software I started to get them all in order to edit. I had to pick out the shots I wanted to use in my final video. Some of them were similar so it didn't matter what I chose. There were a few variations to the same videos. For example the high and shots. Some where angled differently than the others and not as good quality. Next I started to cut the clips to fit my time range. I made sure to leave some room for transitions. This wasn't very easy actually. I only added transitions to a few of the clips because the others are supposed to cut together and flow. Then I had to convert my song to be able to add it to the video. There are so many different sites you can use for this and most of them don't work. So it was challenging trying to find one that worked. It took a while but after finding one that worked I added the song to my video.  After looking over my film, I concluded to do some more just to see if I could get a couple better shots in. They were already pretty good. I just wanted to see if I could get a couple better shots. I had an idea for a few of them to make them a little better. I brought in an extra light because it was to dark before I thought. This made it turn out a lot clearer. And of course brighten it up too. I also made sure to do some of the scenes slower than others to add time and make it smoother. When I was looking over the high angle shots it seemed to of centered. So I tried to add some paper behind my phone and it straightened it out. After fixing up those small things I went on to start editing. I had a lot of clips to import onto my computer from my phone. I used the same app that I have been using. It works better than anything else I have tried. It was a little hard trying to find the shots that I chose to be the final ones.
