Production Blog: Teeth Problems

 The first scene I filmed where I was sitting at my bar packing up my supplies had to be reshot so many times. After that one scene it wasn't to bad and I only had to reshoot a few other scenes. There was the one where my boat wasn't working right. Also one where my sister kept on stopping filming to early. I still have maybe 1/3 of my filming left to do and upload it to my editing software. I was planning on doing it this past weekend but of course, life gets in the way. I actually got my wisdom teeth removed on Saturday. It has been a huge struggle doing pretty much anything. I cant be active at all for about a week. I'm also very swollen and it looks pretty bad. Not to mention when I try and talk it sounds like I have a mouthful of food. But it actually is not not all bad. This actually gives me a little extra time. I wont be working out or going to football for this week and ill have more time for work. I'm going to have to wait till I can talk normal as well as look normal to until I can finish up my last few scenes. Id say give it another 2 or 3 days and ill be all ready to start filming again. I have everything planned and set out so when I am better I can hop right back into it. My dad is going to be on the boat with me helping. He will be the cameraman and the props man. Hopefully it doesn't take to long because I still have a good amount of editing to do. I uploaded everything that I have so far. This project is on its closing half and I hope I can get it all done in time.

Film day #2 Part 1

 Today is our second day of filming for this project. We had planned to get some extra work done today. First things first I had to get ready for Sonalis house. All I had to do was get changed, grab cloths, and get over there. After gathering everything up I headed over to Sonalis to get to work. When I got to Sonalis we started to discuss what we had to do. We had a few different ideas what to start with. We decided to start with some of our long takes. These were takes that were hard to follow the script for. so for most of these we improvised what we were saying but still staying on the topic. A long take in my opinion is one that was more than 30 seconds. We had a good amount of these scenes. The reason for so many long takes is because of how long our film was.   Schedule March 2nd - I will start finalizing all my plans and ideas for filming and let my film crew know I will start soon. March 4th - I will start filming the beginning scenes that I only need to set my phone up somewhere. For example scenes like the beginning scenes that the credits will flow over. March 7th - I will finish up the filming that I can do alone and start to focus on the bigger scenes and shots. My parents and siblings will be the film crew that will help me here and there.  March 12th-15th - During this time I plan on finishing up most of the filming that I need to do. There will be some scenes that I want to switch out and redo, so this will not be the last time filming.  March 16th - I will start to upload all my shots and clips to OpenShot. This is my editing soft where that I will be using.  March 18th - After uploading all of my shots, I will look at all of my shots to see if they are good or not.
