AICE Media Studies

This CCR video was the longest video I have created so far. It was a struggle to make it look good in such a short period of time. I memorized as much as I possibly could so I wasn't looking at the paper the entire time, even with my best efforts it didn't turn out as good as it could have been.

This is the completed version of my Final Task "ALONE". I worked very hard throughout the entire process of this project and did the best I could have done. This is definitely my best piece of work for this class and I enjoyed it the most as well. The best part was the story building for me, also seeing all my hard work pay off and seeing the final product. I'm happy with the outcome and cant wait to see what comes next.

 Coming down to the last few days of this project is a little stressful. It is a very big part of our grade and effects if I pass this class. So why wouldn't I be nervous about this. I have just finished up filming everything and only have a little bit of editing left to do. The last few scenes are ones which I need to take the boat out. I haven't had to many chances to do this so it was postponed. Now my dad can help me with this so it'll be a lot easier. He will help move some stuff around, and also help film. It is only the last about 15 seconds of the film but it is really important. I think this will give me a lot more to edit. I might go over the time and have to cut out some scenes. I don't know how much filming this part is going to take. We might have to retake it a few times. Or even cut out some of the shots. There is always stuff to change and move around.  This past weekend was planned to be a productive one. One filled with filming and editing. But of course, life decided otherwise. My birthday being the 12th came caused a lot of this to go south. Me and my family went out to eat pretty much every night. And eating out at a restaurant is very time consuming. Since it is also my 16th birthday me and my dad went out looking for cars. We had to go to Id say probably 15 dealerships in a single day, it was draining. I also just started up a new job at a smoothie shop. Its a fun job and the pay isn't bad. The only thing is I have a shift on Saturday from 9 to 5. So that pretty much takes up the whole day of sunlight. As you know already my filming has to be done during light hours. Your probably thinking how I was even able to get all that done in a weekend so there was no possible way for me to film. I was just barely able to finish my other homework that is due.  I just now uploaded all of my previous scenes onto my editing software. I'm still pretty swollen from my wisdom teeth removal so no new filming has come from me. I still think it will be a few more days until I can get the rest of my filming done. I'm planning for this upcoming weekend if my dad will help me film. But other than that I took yesterday and took time to upload all of my scenes that I filmed so far. I had more than I originally thought so it took a little while to load in. Then I went to picking out the scenes that I liked and wanted to use. There were a few scenes that were close in comparison so it was hard choosing between them. After I finally finished with all of the choosing of scenes it separated them. I kept the other shots in a separate little thing incase I needed some extra film.  The first scene I filmed where I was sitting at my bar packing up my supplies had to be reshot so many times. After that one scene it wasn't to bad and I only had to reshoot a few other scenes. There was the one where my boat wasn't working right. Also one where my sister kept on stopping filming to early. I still have maybe 1/3 of my filming left to do and upload it to my editing software. I was planning on doing it this past weekend but of course, life gets in the way. I actually got my wisdom teeth removed on Saturday. It has been a huge struggle doing pretty much anything. I cant be active at all for about a week. I'm also very swollen and it looks pretty bad. Not to mention when I try and talk it sounds like I have a mouthful of food. But it actually is not not all bad. This actually gives me a little extra time. I wont be working out or going to football for this week and ill have more time for work.
